My last session post for 2011 would not be complete without some photos of the kiddos. In the midst of the hectic fall shooting schedule, family life and training for a half marathon, it was my mission to capture my own family before the snow came. It’s amazing what a year makes! As a child, growing up we didn’t have many family images so maybe that’s part of the reason why I love photography so much and more importantly, how special it is to document those milestones and moments as much as possible. And I don’t know about you, but I still print photos like crazy because for me, looking at them on the computer is fine but I love seeing my kids’ smiles on my walls, on my desk, in my purse and in our albums. And one day, they will grow up, and I want to be able to leave them with something that shows what they were like, and what we were like as a family. To me, those images of memories caught in time are priceless.
