So not all fall sessions take place in the forest or in a nature setting. For this family session, we went back to an urban backdrop because the last time we had a session in this area, Kai wasn’t even born yet. And now that Kai is four, I felt like I hit the jackpot because this family has always been so great to work with – it helps that they are great friends too. And this year, Kai’s personality is so BIG and it really shines through in these photos. I especially love the interaction and love between him and his sister Sophie year after year – it is really special. Mr. Kai, aka Mr. Airplane, Mr. Robot or Mr. Karate… he kept us entertained and laughing all through the session. And there seems to be a trend in my sessions with the kids doin’ the dab. I don’t even have to tell them, they just do it – but I will admit, it’s pretty cute. Love this family, love these photos.
