I had the pleasure of seeing this family again this past month – which was good, as I was saving some of my best jokes for Drew. It’s hard to believe that Emily isn’t even four yet as she has grown so much over the past year, she looks like she is ready for school as well. The sweet moments caught between her and her mom are some of my favourites. I love how Emily just adores her big brother Drew and looks up to him, imitating whatever he does. The best part of our shoot, in my opinion, was when I got to see him read to Emily; reading is such a big milestone in a kid’s life and to share that with his sister. So sweet. We had some good laughs and at the end of the shoot, we promised Drew that I would take a shot of everyone doing “the dab” as per his request. And so we did – and it was awesome.
