When Jody told me that Brooklyn (B) loved listening to music on her iPod, it got me thinking that we should bring her music to the shoot. Not only does Brooklyn have great taste in music – she listens to her parents’ music library; she had the cutest iPod case in the shape of a popsicle with sprinkles that matched her equally fun, colourful dress. And by fluke, I managed to find coordinating headphones to go with it all. Watching the expression on her face when the music started playing was just wonderful – it’s truly amazing what music does for a person. You could tell she was completely in her happy place when the music came on. I love how these photos turned out and it doesn’t matter what B is doing, she is always so lovely inside and out. And yes, her piercing blue eyes and blonde curls get me every time! You’re awesome, B!
